Remembering the Camino during the pandemicHello pilgrims, As summer comes to an end, we would typically be preparing for our fall Camino tours. Since the pandemic has halted this year’s walks, instead we have some time to check in with how some pilgrims are finding their way through Covid. Lauren walked with us a few years ago, and each day created amazing arrangements from the wildflowers and herbs she found! The best Camino hat ever had a crown of flowers. Now she's replaced her Camino backpack for a backpack full of vegetables from her garden. She's still radiating pure delight with that smile. And those flowers!
And Jan and Adrienne have been taking weekly long Camino style walks in California. Here they are in the Redwoods in July. These redwoods are enchanted, to say the least. Unfortunately, with the recent fires, these forests have been badly burned, but the air has finally cleared and they are able to go outside again. What a great reminder that beauty exists everywhere, especially in the simple things in life! Wishing you all a joyful fall full of beauty, |
